Impractical Jokers is a comedy show consisting of four friends fighting to embarrass each other as much as possible. The main cast includes Joe Gatto, Sal Vulcano, Brian Quinn, and James Murray. The show has been running since 2011 until present day. The cringe-worthy, but hilarious show, takes place in Staten Island, NY. The four friends have been pranking people since they were in high school. To keep the joking and pranking alive, the guys formed what they refer to their close-knit group as the “Tenderloins”.
Although the joke was often on other people when pranks were made, the friends formed an idea for a hidden camera show where the joke instead ends up being on them. With over two decades of memories and friendship, the show has been nothing short of successful. Each man brings his own unique sense of humor which is presented in a cohesive way on the show. The four friends live to humiliate one another but can still represent what true and trusting relationships are like. While the friends seem to have an unbreakable bond, recently Joe has decided to leave the show due to personal circumstances.
Joe and his wife, Bessy, of eight years have decided to get a divorce. He has not addressed the touchy topic in detail but has made a few light-hearted jokes regarding the situation. Joe has made the decision to embark on a solo stand-up comedy tour.
Brian “Q” Quinn stated he was shocked when Joe announced he would be leaving. Many fans of the show have expressed devastation to the sad news but wish Joe well on his independent journey. The show itself has caused a lot of laughter in its time and will hopefully continue to.
The other three Jokers have expressed that they will continue the show and are excited to start a new chapter of Impractical Jokers. They can not imagine the show without Joe, and neither can the show’s widespread audience. Thank you, Joe, for your dedication to making people laugh in your time on Impractical Jokers.
