What Are Your Fall Traditions?

One fall tradition my family has is putting up Halloween decorations together. My mother loves putting up decorations for the holidays, and Halloween is no exception. Once October rolls around, all the Halloween decorations get paraded out from the garage and set up. Colored lights get hung up outside the house, a giant Jack o’ lantern inflatable gets put where the outdoor table sits, and window clings adorn every window and glass door. Not too low, though, because of the dog. It’s not always a full family activity, but usually at least my mother and I set up the decorations. There are decorations that usually get set up on Halloween as well, like the cat eyes that are projected onto the garage doors, or the fog machine we set up. We also often play music while sitting outside during the night, while the children trick or treat.

Valentine’s Day is a holiday about love. It’s a day to celebrate with a partner or loved ones. I think the day should be celebrated, it’s a great way to express love and your feelings with others. When you were a kid, you might’ve loved to celebrate it, giving classmates cards and candy, and when you’re older you can celebrate it with a significate other and share your love with them. Today only 53% of Americans celebrate Valentine’s Day, which doesn’t make much sense. All in all I think it’s a great holiday.

Spring break is approaching quicker than everyone thought. It’s going to be nice having a break where you can do whatever you want without having to worry about work or sleeping in. Although it will make the following Monday harder to get back into the school mindset.
Personally, I cannot wait to go to my girlfriends quinceañera. Until then all I am going to be doing throughout the break is sitting on my couch and watching any show to cure my boredom and maybe hang out with some friends.

Autumn is one of the greatest times of the year! People prepare for holidays and the weather begins to cool down, leading into the winter months. The fall is often a time where traditions begin for most families. Since I can remember, my family has set up home fall decorations in September to October. This gets our family excited for the months to come when we celebrate the holidays we love. Even at 17 years old, I still go trick-or-treating with my friends or family. Halloween keeps youthful joy alive within me and it is incredible to keep a tradition alive for a long time. Most popularly, we celebrate Thanksgiving in Texas every year to be with our family who has moved away. This has allowed us to maintain a relationship with all the family we love, while celebrating gratefulness with one another. Autumn is a time of joy and love, and it is important to me to continue to appreciate the traditions that come with the season!

Spring break is a special time for students to relax and recharge, away from school stress. It's a break that lets people escape school and enjoy themselves. Whether it's soaking up the sun on a beach, going on trips, or spending time with family and friends, spring break is important for mental health. It gives students a chance to rest and feel good. When they return to school, they're more motivated and ready to work. Spring break is a time to have fun, relax, and forget about schoolwork. It's a chance to do whatever makes you happy and feel free from school responsibilities.

My favorite fall tradition is decorating for Halloween and watching scary movies during Halloween time. I like doing this because I get to spend more time with my family, and we get to watch my favorite movies like Scream and Halloween. During Thanksgiving, my family and I cook our dinner together and make different desserts like last year when we made a blueberry pie, and it was great! We also go to Sedona towards the end of November to walk and hike different trails and see various parts of the town.

I can’t wait for fall. Fall has always been one of my favorite times of the year, and it’s because it’s not too cold and not too hot to walk around and be outside. Arizona is so hot that walking around during spring or summer means that your always sweating, but when fall rolls around it has a nice breeze outside and walking around outside is more calming and not as hot as it is during summer or spring, so I can enjoy being outside more. What is even more fun is when fall is around me and my family will start decorating for the holidays that are just around the corner. We will all go outside and decorate for Halloween and I love Halloween so when we decorate it is a lot of fun cause I get to get in the Halloween spirit.

My family doesn't have many fall traditions. We usually are busy up through Thanksgiving but we still do stuff like playings games around the holidays and just cook meals for Thanksgiving. I usually do some performances in the fall like at the Arizona State Fair and used to perform at Glendale Glitters. And we also dress my dog up for Halloween and Thanksgiving every single year.

Over spring break, I will stay home and catch up with friends. I might go over to my best friend’s house and stay the night. I will call my friends and stay up late playing Roblox with them.
However, besides getting to hang out with friends, spring break is also necessary for students. I say this because spring break lets students get a break from school. Getting a break from school gives students time away from other people and lets them rest both mentally and physically.
So, overall spring break is nice to have no matter if you are going out with friends or just staying inside resting

We are already halfway through our second semester, coming up to our spring break! This is a great and well needed time for students to kick back and have some fun without the worry of school for a week. There are so many fun plans you can make for the week whether it is just catching up on some sleep or taking a fun vacation. I cannot believe this school year is already coming close to an end. It has gone by so unbelievably fast. I can’t wait to take this time to do something fun and memorable with friends and family, then finish the year off strong.

For many, Spring Break is a time for people to relax, hang out with friends or just enjoy the week away from school. However, for me my spring break is different.
I have 3 goals for my spring break: researching Eagle Scout projects for Boy Scouts, find donors for steel for a project I’m working on, and to begin reorganizing my life which has recently been a mess.
Although this sounds more like work, I believe it is important to use the limited time I have left before my Senior year for something that I can feel proud of, hence working towards getting Eagle Scouts, completing a personal project and reorganizing myself.

This month we will be having our Spring Break, which lasts for a whole week. The break starts on March 18 and ends the 22nd. Most people will be either sleeping or with their friends, but I plan to find an apartment, work, and focus on my grades more. I tend to just sleep and go out with my friends, but since this is my last year, I want to make sure everything is intact for graduation. I do wish to go out along with my friends because I have not spent time together with them in a while. Especially without having to wake up early the next day.

This spring break I will be spending a lot of time with my family and friends. All that I will be doing is spending time with my family and home and doing nothing. I don’t think that I will be spending a lot of time with friends. Things that I like to do for fun with my family include doing nothing, sleeping, and eating. In spring break, I especially love the weather and how it is not to hot or cold. This type of weather is perfect for going on walks and going on runs. I will be going on runs every day and even try and go to the gym too. I will also start eating better and start a cleanse. My sister is coming to visit and she’s my babies and I am so happy and excited This spring break will be so fun and I am looking forward to it.

Over the break, I plan to do a lot of fun things. I imagine that I will be going over to my mom’s house and cooking something with her. I hope to spend more time with my siblings and my cousins over the break, like watching movies, cooking, or doing craft activities that bring us closer together. But besides spending time with my family, I want to get back into my hobbies since I don’t really have the chance to do so during the school week. I hope that I can paint and read and practice my skateboard over the break to brush up on my skills. I just want my break to be about relaxing and enjoying things that I can’t normally.

How are you going to spend your spring break? Personally, I am determined to spend this year’s spring break without just rotting at home. I think I’ve wasted almost every spring break by staying inside and not doing much of anything. But not this year! This is my senior year spring break. And although I might be able to go on some big road trip or vacation, I can still make the most of the time off school.
I’ll go to the gym, I can take my friends out to dinner, and I can go thrifting! That will get me out of the house at least three days that week. Additionally, I can pick up some extra shifts at work for some extra spending money and more time out of the house. You don’t need big plans to get out of the house!

This spring break I plan to mostly work and since there is spring training for baseball, it will be very busy. I will also be visiting my cousins and uncle in California for a few days near the end of the break. We plan to go to Sea World since that's my little cousin's favorite place, she loves to see the sea animals. I wish I could be able to go in the ocean, but it will be way too cold. Instead, we may just walk on the pier and get some food overlooking the water. Sometime during break when I don't have work, I plan on looking for prom dresses. I am looking forward to prom and it is coming up fast. I need to plan out what I'm wearing, although I don't know the color or kind of dress I want.

During spring break, I do many things. Some of my favorite things are hanging out with my friends. We always go out and do things. Usually, we hang out at my house or just do whatever is going on that day. I also hang out with my family more. We go out to eat or visit places together. Since we have no school for a week I'm going to bake more. I have been baking different types of things like cakes and cookies. Lastly, during spring break I get to finish a lot of my assignments that I didn't finish before.

February 14th is a joyous day for many people but also a dreadful day for others. Valentines’ day is all about love and the beauty behind. Many people dread the holiday, because they aren’t as lucky as others and don’t have a special partner to spend the day with. And though it can bring loneliness and sadness there is always a way to turn that around and make YOUR day special. Valentines’ day isn’t just about the love you share with a special partner, it’s about love in general. So even if you don’t have that person for you, celebrate the love you have for yourself, friends, family, the environment, animals, and the fact that you get to spend another day on this earth loving and living. So, get yourself a box of chocolates either way because love truly is beautiful even if the special love hasn’t come for you yet.

I don’t have many plans for spring break this year. My family and I will probably just stay home and spend time together. If we do travel anywhere, it’ll be to Williams, which is a city up north near Flagstaff.
Williams is a small tourist town on Route 66, with lots of cute little gift shops and themed restaurants. I’ve been once before with my grandma, but my parents have never gone. Lately we’ve been talking about spending a day or two up there some weekend. I really want to go again so I can see the city at night since I wasn’t able to last time. At night many of the shops and restaurants turn on their 50’s-esque neon signs, which is something I would love to see.
