The Batman Review (Spoiler)

The Batman is a wonderfully created film with beautiful storytelling and top tier film making. Starring Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Paul Dano, and Colin Farrell, it was directed by Matt Reeves. This film was truly spectacular: the casting, the camera work, and sound design. The film, to me, is the best Batman film created to date. Bruce is broken and The Batman is tearing himself apart, going out every night looking for a time to strike on the criminals of Gotham City

The Riddler, one of Batman’s many villains, starts to hunt down public figures in Gotham, exposing the truth day by day with a new victim. A crime leads to the Penguin and his nightclub, “The Iceberg Lounge”, where he sees Selina Kyle. He notices clues on her boots which were recognized from an image the Riddler gave Batman and Gordon. These two team up, solving the crimes together. Also, Batman and Selina work together to find out what happened to Selina’s Friend. Batman seems to keep getting more and more upset by the day with lots of long shots throughout this film.

Matt Reeves remaking classics like the Planet of the Ape, franchise had me excited as he continues on the same track now, with Batman. Robert Pattinson’s rendition of The Batman is everything I wanted Ben Affleck’s broken, crazy and disillusioned mature Batman to be and so much more. Matt Reeves chose the right path to go with his Bruce Wayne, inspired by various Batman comics (The Long Halloween, Year One, Zero Year, Dark Victory, Ego). Robert Pattinson delivers the best Batman we have seen in live form by far. He is not the typical playboy billionaire he puts on in the public, but a recluse still going through the death of his parents, Martha and Thomas Wayne, who ended up being a part of the corruption; possibly suffering from mental illness, and using vigilantism as a way to process it all while cleaning up the streets of Gotham.

Bruce being only two years in, he needs to grow, but my favorite part was the Batmobile. The best part of the movie with the sounds and looks. The tease of Joker was very clever as well very curious. This was the best Batman movie ever made in my opinion
