Out of all the students on Ironwood’s campus, the students who were most impacted by school being postponed are our seniors in the class of 2020. They have lost their prom, the chance to walk at graduation and now senior athletes have lost their chance at their final seasons.
Track and field, baseball, softball, tennis and boy’s volleyball seniors have lost their final season of high school sports. The Eagle’s Eye was deeply saddened to hear about the cancellation of the spring sports. Our hearts go out to all the athletes whose careers were cut short. Although there is not anything we can do to change this outcome, we wish all of our athletes the best in their future and hope that they can look back at their time as Ironwood athletes with happy memories. We promise to stay committed to those who have put in sweat and time for Ironwood’s Teams.
