Summer Safety Summer Days

Summer break, you are outside, the sun is warm and bright, a slight breeze picks up. You close your eyes and breathe in the warm Arizona air… that would be if it was not over 110 degrees outside and if the air wasn’t polluted or you being sunburnt; Kentucky fried humans. Summer, hot as heck, annoying but enjoyable to some people. Arizona is so hot you can cook eggs on the sidewalk or bake cookies in your car! If you do not want to end up like that sad egg on the cement or that melted-gelrubber duck on your dashboard, then summer safety will be useful for you (and literally everyone else). What may happen if you are not careful during the hot months, according to nisbenifits. com, “ …The sunny days of summer can be accompanied by serious dangers such as food poisoning, drowning, allergy attacks, heat-related illnesses, sunburns and the stress of traveling.”

If you do not want to fry up and evaporate in the pool, slap on some sunscreen and reduce the risk for skin cancer. If you do not want to hallucinate by overheating, drink tons and tons of water, stay hydrated and stay indoors. Now, you may wonder why, or how does food poisoning increase? It is rather simple, the hotter it gets, the more bacteria will rapidly grow. Drowning-wise, some people, both kids and adults, still do not know how to swim and are at higher risk of drowning. Drinking too much alcohol at a summer party can also, obviously affect one’s ability to swim. Over all, stay hydrated, stay sober and stay safe.
