For 38 years Redbull has been one of the top ten energy drinks in the nation, selling over 7.9 billion cans of Redbull in 2020. Compared to its competition, Redbull is the best, one of the most caffeinated drinks on the market. For comparison, Monster Energy has 89 milligrams of caffeine, Redbull has 111 milligrams, and an average cup of coffee has 95 milligrams. However, in terms of sugar, Monster has 54 grams of sugar while Redbull only has 37 grams. Additionally, with the added caffeine in Redbull, it comes with a price. Monster Energy Drink is on the market at around three dollars while Redbull sells for around five dollars per can.

Personally, I love drinking Redbull. Every day, I start my morning with a Redbull and in most cases drink another throughout the day. There is no other drink on the market that has the same distinct, recognizable taste as Redbull. The taste of Redbull is somewhere in between liquid sweet tarts and cough syrup with added sugar.

Currently, there are ten different types of Redbull. Among these ten, Redbull also makes original Redbull, SugarFree, Redbull Zero, and six Redbull Edition flavors. These Edition Flavors include Tropical, Blueberry, Watermelon, Peach- Nectarine, Coconut Berry, and Pomegranate. Originally, these flavors were seasonal but became a part of the collection after selling millions of cans.

Redbull is something that is a part of my daily routine and without it, I would be a walking zombie. A cold can of Redbull starts my day off no matter the weather or day of the week.

From a scientific standpoint, Redbull significantly increases aerobic endurance and mental performance. According to PubMed, mental performance increases include reaction time, concentration, memory, and subjective awareness.

On another note, if you want the healthier option of this popular, amazing energy drink turn for the Redbull Zero. The Redbull Zero (8.4 fl. oz. can) contains 80 milligrams of caffeine and 0 milligrams of sugar. If you still want the energy without the sugar definitely opt for the Redbull Zero, same caffeine no sugar.
