How Relief Efforts Are Supporting The Fight Against COVID-19

The Coronavirus pandemic has kept us in a quarantine that seems like it has been going on forever, which makes us wonder: when will it be safe to go outside and be with our friends again? Although we know that action is being taken against the virus, do we really know what is going on out there?

To stop the spread of the Coronavirus, many relief groups and organizations are taking donations so that they are better able to help those who do not have a home to go to during this time. The homeless are very much in danger of getting and spreading this deadly virus among each other with no home to protect them. An example of this sort of relief group is The Coalition for the Homeless, who offers nationwide support for the homeless. They also offer different ways that both adults and teens can help with their foundation. Check them out at coalitionforthehomeless.org.

Other relief groups and organizations take donations to help fund research for a vaccine, since a vaccine seems to be the only thing that can completely rid the world of the virus at this point, as it is rapidly spreading. The World Health Organization or W.H.O. are doing this sort of thing on a global scale. You can support them by going to COVID19ResponseFund.org.

Relief effort groups are not able to ensure the safety of everyone, since they have never had to face something as large as this, so they are encouraging everyone to stay inside to resist spread. Now telling people to stay inside may not seem very important, but keeping yourself distanced from your friends and extended family at this time can go a long way in stopping the spread of the virus. Relief groups are doing the best that they can at this time so let us remember to thank and support them when we get the chance. Thank you eagles and stay safe!
