As many people of this generation are aware and fans of, there is a flavor of Hot Cheetos called XXTRA FLAMIN' HOT. It is a favorite of many. It can be found on the shelves at Walmart and Target, or more accurately, used to be found on those shelves. Recently though, there has seemed to be some sort of shortage of these delicious chips. Fans took it to social media to complain about their beloved chips being less available. But why are they unavailable?
Market Realist states, “This shortage is mainly because of increased demand and tightening supply. There are labor shortages and supply chain challenges due to various problems, including rising energy prices and climate change affecting crops. A truck driver shortage is one reason for the difficulties in getting food products where they need to go.” Many factors go into this specific shortage.
Many food items and items that many would not even think of or realize are being affected by shortages. These shortages are being caused by many factors such as delivery driver shortages, higher demand for the item, and shutdowns in factories. These all stem from the pandemic.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many disadvantages given which have been causing global shortages. These shortages affect the snacks everybody loves to eat, and even other items that people may have no idea about. So, unfortunately, the favorite XXTRA FLAMIN' HOT may not be seen in stores for a while.
