“Final” a single word that can make everybody nervous, tired, stressed, and anxious. Final exam week is the week that a lot of students are stressed and messed up, because it is the week that you have to take an exam that will show a result that how well studied, and it can show WHAT your future will look like. Finals week is not only about exams, but also about the assignment that the deadline is coming, so it seems like you have double stress and I know it is horrible. Today we have some tips to help your final week look a lot easier and less stressful! Stress affects mental health so the first tip I will suggest is to meditate. Meditation can clear your mind and it makes you feel more manageable. The study says “If you are a beginner and looking to reduce stress, then 10 minutes should be enough. However, if you are looking to focus more on calmness and increased concentration, then 30 minutes might be better as you will have time for some light stretches as well as breathing techniques,” by Arlin Cuncic- Verywellmind. The second tip is to exercise, exercise is one of the most effective ways to do it when you are stressed. Stuff like walking in the park, jogging, or yoga. Why exercise helps you reduce stress that because, “The stress of exercise actually helps your brain release endorphins, which serve as natural painkillers,” by Joshua Jamias- Selecthealth. The third tip is to make a priority and manage time. As always, final week is not only about testing, but also a lot of homework that we must finish before school ends. Therefore, we really feel messed up because we do not know where to start and what next. These are four tips that will help you prioritize your work. First always do the task that is important and urgent, second is work that important but not so urgent, next work is the work that is not important but urgent, and the work that you should do the last is the work that not important and not urgent- Flexjobs. The next tip is to talk to someone. Do not keep everything to yourself and do not forget that you are not alone. Talk to someone whether your friend, teacher, parent, or yourself. Talking can help you relieve and feel better. Sometime the person you talk to may help you put things into perspective. The last tip is to rest and get a nice sleep. We cannot deny that when it is the final week everybody always ignores to take rest, instead they stay up all night to work and read. Go to your bed not a table, take some good naps during the day and take an effective sleep at night. This is what you should do. “Poor sleep impacts your memory, creativity, and logical reasoning, or in other words, not sleeping enough impairs all the skills you need to perform well on a final exam.”- Sleepfoundation. Eventually, to get a good grade depends on how well you prepare, but again do not put too. much pressure on yourself, otherwise you will be stressed, and it is not good to be a stressful person. Lastly, I hope you will be doing well on final week and the test and wishing you to get a perfect grade.
