Interesting, variety, and fun. The Culture Club is an interesting club in Ironwood High School. They are learning about the culture of other countries. We all know that Ironwood High School is ethnically diverse so it is more interesting when we can learn from the people that come from different roots.
When we asked Ms. Farrell how Culture Club is this semester so far, she said, “Culture Club is going really well this semester. We meet every other Thursday, in room 504. All students are welcome.”
The next question we asked her is what interesting things are you doing right now she responded, “We have so many cool things so far this year. We had 2 cultural candy sales, presentations on various countries/ cultures, and a potluck at the end of last semester where students brought food from their culture”. We also asked her about any outstanding members, she said, “We have lots of outstanding members, but we should give a special shout out to Kamonpan Salakkum, who has been awesome at promoting the club and is our top candy seller.” We asked her about any future events you are looking forward to. She said, “We are looking forward to learning about other cultures this semester. We will have several students presenting at our upcoming meetings.” Lastly, we asked if you had any trouble or challenging times this semester. She answered, “So far, no trouble this semester.”
To sum up, the Culture Club is doing well. They have a lot of interesting things to do and learn a lot about culture. This is an opportunity for everybody to get to know new things that you have never known. If you are a person that likes to learn new things, this club is for you!
