With the understanding that this school year’s abrupt end has left some students unable to collect leftover items from their lockers, students will have one last chance to go on campus and take the things they need most.
On April 8th and 9th, this Wednesday and Thursday, will be allowed on campus to empty their lockers. Though, Ironwood’s Administration implores that students understand this is only for “essential items”, as worded by Mr. Burrola. Truly it is important to limit gathering during this time, so please only come if these items are ones that have important functions. This includes both PE lockers and hallway lockers, but there will be entering of any classrooms at this time.
Students who are driving should park in the teacher parking lot off of Sweetwater and will be asked to walk in alone. Then they will be escorted by security staff to obtain their items. Those who walk or bike to school will be asked to form a line with a safe distance between each other (around 6 feet). All students attending will also be forced to wear gloves while emptying their lockers. Take this opportunity while it is here because on Friday, April 11th, Ironwood’s campus will be closed to all students and staff.
To maintain order, students should come in alphabetical order according to their last name. Please take a look at the list underneath this article for the time slot you would attend during. Contact Mr. Burrola with any further questions or concerns.
