As everyone knows COVID-19 has changed the course of this school year beyond what anyone thought possible. It has taken away several chances of making memories like prom, the powder puff football game and it is threatening graduation, but do not worry you can still purchase a 2019- 2020 yearbook at https://www.jostens.com/yearbooks/high-school-yearbooks.html
Rest assured this year’s year book is nothing short of the quality of previous years. The deadline for final pages was during spring break and the editors worked tirelessly over spring break to finalize everything.
At this time it is still unknown when or how you will receive your yearbook. It is worth it to buy the yearbook even if you have to wait until the 2020-2021 school year to get it and see it in all of its glory.
Ms. Farrell, the year book teacher and advisor, is incredibly proud of the leadership this semester's senior staff has shown, she wants them to know she is, “ so proud of [their]accomplishments” and she is sure the next year will hold big things.
For her other staff members she wants them to know she is incredibly proud of the teamwork that was shown. She also “can't wait to create another yearbook and ... can’t wait to share it with the rest of the school”. For students in general she had a few words of encouragement, “ You’ve got this! Keep showing up!”
This year may seem like it would be a sad one to remember, but keep in mind all the wonderful memories students at Ironwood were able to make this year. Getting a yearbook could be a great way to remind oneself that it is not all bad and there are good times to look back on.
