Three Anticipated Rock Albums and What to Expect From the Artists

2020 was a difficult year to say the least, but that did nothing to stop some rock bands from still creating wonderful things. Hopefully the new year will not only be less stressful but will also come with amazing albums to support these three wonderful songs.

First up, we have the latest song by Escape The Fate, Not My Problem, came as a little bit of a surprise. I do not think anyone was expecting this slightly different sound out of the band. It also came as a surprise that the band also worked with Blink-182’s drummer, Travis Barker on the song. I am really excited to see what else the band does with the up and coming album and who else they will collaborate with on said album.

Second is the latest song, Last December by Good Charlotte is unlike any other song by them that I have ever heard. The overall message and tone of the song is something that I could have never anticipated from them. It still has the unique punk sound that they usually have but they have somehow toned it down in this slower song. I am extremely curious to see what they will do with their next album and how they will incorporate this slower song to their normally upbeat tone.

Last but not least, and honestly my personal favorite, Scarlet Cross by Black Veil Brides. The newest Black Veil Brides song has that undeniably, Black Veil Brides sound. With epic guitar solos from the band’s guitarists Jake Pitts and Jinxx, the always amazing drum fills by their drummer C.C, and the lovely deep tones created by the bands new bassist, Lonny Eagleton, all paired with lead singer, Andy Beirsack’s out of this world lyrics and beautifully deep voice, there is no way their up and coming concept album will not be astronomical. I have a lot of faith in the band to make something great, even in the midst of this pandemic.

I have faith that all three of these bands will be able to work through this awful pandemic to make something beautiful. Though it kind of sucks that there probably will not be any in person concerts to support these albums this year, I am confident that these bands will continue to push through any challenges thrown at them.
