They say a dog is a man’s best friend, and this is especially true now during the coronavirus pandemic. Your pet can be your best friend throughout the isolation from social distancing. Here are the best ways to spend your quarantine experience with your pets.

Try exercising with your furry friends. There are still many ways to stay in shape with your pets. For example, you could go out for a walk around the neighborhood. Here is a chance to get outside and breathe some fresh air. You can even run if you want more of a workout. For those who prefer to stay inside, try yoga with your pets. It is a great way to relax and stretch with your pets. I am sure most animals cannot do yoga, but this exercise is more for the fun of being with your pets. Just imagine their cute faces as they watch you do funny poses.

Play with your pet. Get your pets excited by playing their favorite games. Whether this is playing ball with them or chasing them, your pets are sure to love the attention. For example, I have a pet dog, and I love to play hide and seek with her. She is so cute when she sniffs all over the house to find me. This is a fun way to lighten up you and your pet’s mood.

Make treats for your pets. Quarantining leaves a lot of time for DIYs, and one way to spice up your day is to try baking homemade snacks for your pets. There are tons of recipes online for dog biscuits and cat treats. You can even try a pet salad consisting of nutritious fruits and veggies for your pets. They are sure to love trying out your baked goods, and the best part is, they are the nicest judges ever.

Have a spa day with your pet. Give your pet the special treatment they deserve with a warm bath to make them squeaky clean. While you are scrubbing your pet clean or wiping them dry, make sure to get some cute photos of them because you never know when the next time you get to do this is. Do not be offended if they are a bit mad at first, I know my dog hates the water, but the results are worth it.

This is a very short list of ideas, but they are sure to bring a smile on your face and hopefully make this pandemic a little less boring.

Are you looking for some fun ways to play with your pets? Well I am here to help!

I personally do not know about cats because I have never owned one, but I think I have a few ideas on how to have fun with them. For example, you can teach him/her a trick like high-five and sit. With some of their favorite treats or some cat toys, you can get them to chase you or the toy around for a few minutes for your entertainment.

Cats are very chill animals; they do not really do anything other than cuddle and play with their toys that you have bought them. Do not get me wrong there are some cats who do a lot of things and are very smart, well every animal is smart in my opinion.

Dogs are more energetic, so you must work with them more than cats because cats are again more on the chill side. You have to do more activities with them like taking them outside and playing or even just teaching them tricks. They cannot just stay inside all day and not play because that causes them to be bored, which will cause them to tear up things.

Now, for the dogs there are many things you can do like play fetch with their favorite toys outside in your backyard or front yard. You can also take him/her on a walk around your neighborhood to get their energy out but since this flu is going around be sure to keep you and your dog away from others.

Next, you can teach them some tricks. I have a few you can teach them like roll over, play dead, shake, or even speak. I taught my chihuahua, Chai, how to roll over with a bunch of treats. Yes it took maybe an hour or so, but dogs are smart when their favorite treat is involved. Plus taking your dog out or teaching them things makes them closer to you and others who help with it.

Anyway, I hope this helps you out if you are bored in your house and want to do something with your dog or cat! I also hope you and your families are happy and healthy, stay safe!
