We can all agree 2021 has been insane. This year had been filled with COVID-19, amazing music, tv shows, and performances. But it also came with its political movements and change. In 2021, the election has sparked plenty of conversation. The election had brought on the President of The United States, Joe Biden, and his sitting Vice President Kamala Harris for the democratic party. After winning to Donald Trump, his presidency win had brought on the conversation of election fraud, which has been debunked and investigated. While putting pressure on his team to better America with his campaign slogan, “Build Back Better”. Also this year, the vaccination for COVID-19 had been developed and distributed to millions across America.

In the United Kingdom, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had faced racist remarks against their newborn son, Archie Windsor. On March 7, Oprah Winfrey interviewed the royals, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to discuss the comments made about their son. Markle had explained that an unnamed family member had questioned the color of Archie’s skin because Markle is mixed-raced. Several days after the interview, Prince William had publicly stated, “We are very much not a racist family”. But others beg to differ. Aside from the family feud Prince Harry had returned to the UK from their home in California on July 1st for the unveiling of a statue in Kensington Palace dedicated to his late mother, Princess Diana.

In 2007, Britney Spears had an extremely publicized mental breakdown following her divorce from Kevin Federline. In 2008, Britney Spears had a conservatorship placed upon her by her father. With this conservatorship, she lost control over her assets, estates, and all financial affairs. However, in 2021 the conservatorship was brought to trial to be revisited. Spears had hoped she would win her life back from her father and the owner of conservatorship, Jamie Spears. In March of 2021, the judge presiding over her case ruled in her favor. After, thirteen years Britney Spears had gotten her life back. The court had appointed her a new financial advisor to look after her best interest. While 2021, has been yet again another crazy year; we survived.
