Foodie Review: Nagoya Sushi

Suds Richardson

Staff Reporter

Nagoya Sushi is a local restaurant off of 75th and Greenway and it is one of the best sushi restaurants in the valley. From the food and atmosphere with the people running it, Nagoya is an amazing place to eat.

The food at Nagoya is astounding. I have brought quite a few people there and every time company is impressed by the quality and taste of the food. I even remember one of my relatives commenting on how fresh it was. The best part of it is that, as someone who does not like sushi, their menu items such as ramen, udon, and bento boxes are just as delicious. Even their appetizers of tempura and edamame are full of flavor and a pure delight. Of course, their sushi is amazing as well with it being a perfect destination for me and my family when we are all in the mood for something more oriental.

The other part of Nagoya that makes it one of the best sushi restaurants in the valley is the people and the atmosphere. The head chef and the owner of the restaurant recognize us and come out to talk with us every time we are there. He always greets us when we come in as well and always thanks us for our business. This goes along with the atmosphere of the restaurant as well with Japanese decor lining the walls and having the kitchen come out into the dining area. The decoration consists of mostly Japanese knick-knacks that make the whole place feel at home. Plus, the place is always in pristine condition with nothing that feels gross or out of place for the establishment.

Nagoya is one of the best sushi joints around. It has impeccable food, both in its sushi and in its appetizers and dishes. It also has an at-home atmosphere with staff that is happy to greet their customers and be of service. I highly recommend you check it out off of 75th and Greenway.
