There is no need to go to Starbucks if you live in or are visiting the Show Low area. Arizona Mountain Coffee Co. is a local coffee shop located in Show Low, and soon to be also located in PineTop Arizona, they serve a large variety of Coffees and Teas, including but not limited to iced coffee, lattes, ground coffee, white hot chocolate, bubble tea, and many different herbal and fruit teas.
This coffee shop also has quite a few savory, mouthwatering breakfast sandwiches like bagel sandwiches, as well as bacon and egg sandwiches. Though, on the opposite side of this delicious spectrum they have quite a few desserts and pastries, a fan favorite being their cinnamon rolls, I recommend sharing one with someone though, because they are quite large. If you are a huge geek like me and love Star Wars this would also be a great place to eat and hang out for a little while. They have an entire themed menu chalked full of great drinks and desserts, my personal favorites being the Stormtrooper Oreo Latte and the Kylo Ren Red Velvet Latte.
The owners are both military veterans who, even if you are not a regular, will treat you like they have known you forever. If you do become a regular at their shop they will even (eventually) know you by name and usually your regular coffee or pastry order too. One of the owners even hosts paint nights at the shop where he teaches you how to paint a specific painting, I have heard it is a lot of fun
You will always be greeted with kindness when you come in, the coffee shop is known for having a comfortable atmosphere with great service and a friendly staff. Arizona Mountain Coffee overall is a great place with great service, and making the four hour trip up to Show Low is worth it, and I hope to see you there sometime soon!
