Candy Corn: The Best Halloween Candy Ever

Lexi Geller

Staff Reporter

The most important topic when it comes to the season of Fall, and the holiday of Halloween is, of course, candy. And more specifically, the candy corn. Many senseless people love to say that candy corn is the worst type of Halloween candy. Those people are undeniably incorrect. Candy corn is one of the best Halloween candies for so many reasons. First of all, the flavor is immaculate. The texture is beautiful, along with the colors that give u the automatic reminder that it’s fall. It is waxy on the outside, and chewy on the inside. It melts in your mouth so deliciously. It has a sweet flavor that makes me think of pure sweet candy and Halloween. It is such a classic, nothing can change the classic nature of candy corn. Candy corn also is not just around for Halloween, contrary to popular belief. There is a type of candy corn for a lot of occasions throughout the year when candy corn is present. There is a Valentine’s Day candy corn with the colors of love, red, pink, and purple. There is red, green, and white candy corn, for the Christmas lovers out there. There are pastel colors for springtime and Easter. Red, white, and blue, for all the patriots. Clearly, this candy is such a dynamic creation and has zero reasons to be hated by so many. Especially not for the colors. But if some do not have a particular liking for the flavor of candy corn, there is good news for that too. There are many different flavors of candy corn as well, which include, but are not limited to: pumpkin pie, donut, caramel, candy apple, tropical, turkey dinner, chocolate, mermaid dinner, fruity, s’mores, lemonade, peanut butter, nerds, red velvet, strawberry shortcake, etc. clearly, through all the different beautiful colors, delectable, seasonal flavors all across the calendar, candy corn is for sure one of the best Halloween candies, (or candies in general) ever created. And if you, yourself, are a hater of candy corn, may I suggest this: Go find your favorite colors and flavors of candy corn, and give it a second chance. You will not regret it.
