Best Snacks To Munch On During Quarantine

Quarantine has been boring so far to say the least and boredom can cause lots of binge eating. Choosing the best things to snack on can be tough but luckily there are plenty of delicious snacks to eat during this “lockdown”.

Many people grew up with both Cheez-Its and Goldfish in their pantry at all times. Not surprisingly, many families’ favorites are those two snacks. Maybe it is the nostalgia or maybe it is just that they are very yummy. Once you start eating them, you cannot stop and soon enough the whole box or bag will be gone. The originals are good but if you want to shake things up both also have several different flavors. To name a few, Cheez-Its have extra toasty, white cheddar, pepper jack, and weirdly enough, loaded cheesy taco. Goldfish also have their many flavors which include extra cheddar, pizza, and sour cream and onion.

If you are looking for a healthier alternative, there are still a variety of different goodies you can eat. Having something both sweet and salty like Trail Mix is a great option. This will also give you energy for the remainder of the day. Anther healthy option, if you want something savory, is beef jerky. It has a lot of protein and can keep you full until your next meal. Like most snacks Trail Mix and beef jerky have many different flavors, so you will never get bored.

For a blast to the past, try making some of your own snacks that you made as a child. Maybe make some ants on a log with three easy ingredients. All you need is celery, peanut butter, and raisins then you are all set. You could also make Jello in all different sorts of shapes and it is really quite simple to put together. Surely you have made one of this two things as a kid so these snacks will give you that hit of nostalgia.

There are many other snacks you can munch on this quarantine, but these are some of the best picks. Stay home and stay safe during this crazy time and happy munching.
